Hello! I want to share a little DIY project that I did the other day. I usually take items that I am tired of and try to make them into something else so you will see posts like this pretty frequently. I tend to get tired of things quickly. I guess that's why I love fashion so much.. because of it's ever changing nature. For this project, I took a plain black tank that I was tired of and turned it into a cropped army tank. Enjoy!

Hat of All Trades
My look today has a couple of my favorite pieces in it! This leopard vest has been a fantastic layering tool for me. It gives outfits an edge and goes with pretty much everything. I even love mixing it with other prints.
I put in the maroon and coral necklace to bring out the pops of coral and red in my belt. (oh, and my coral lipstick). I got the hat a couple of months ago and am breaking it out today for the first time! I think it will be making lots of appearances in my wardrobe during the summer months. It's a straw material, so I will wear it dressed up for work as well as to the pool..and the beach.. and the lake.. and the farmers market.. and anywhere else in the great outdoors.. you get the point.
The vintage items that I am wearing today are my belt and my skirt. I feel like I keep saying this about everything I have posted but this belt is my favorite. NO, it really is. I can wear it with so much because of all the colors. It really stands out too, no matter what I wear it with. The skirt was a local thrift store find. I loved the buttons. They aren't the same color-- some look a little tarnished. They give the skirt a nice, worn look. We all know I love that.

Fringe Benefits
I love fringe. Maybe because of the way it moves around when you walk. Or possibly the bohemian feel it gives to your outfit. Either way, I LOVE IT. I included one of my favorite fringed pieces in my outfit for today.

The skirt and top are from Libby Story. Bowler hat is from Urban Outfitters. Boots are from Target. The hat is the only item that's still available online. Get it here.
The only vintage I am wearing today are my bracelets.
I'm off to work! I'll probably be jumping around all day in this skirt, but hey, a little extra cardio never hurt anyone. I will leave you with some fabulous fringe inspiration from Spell and the Gypsy Collective.

Monday Mornings
I don't ever feel like dressing up on Mondays. I think it's because Mondays are already tough as it is. Lucky for me, Monday is usually my off day at work. Today, I am wearing a casual comfy outfit perfect for getting through the Monday blues.
I am really into overalls right now.. I am currently looking for some colored and floral vintage ones on Ebay but haven't quite found the perfect ones yet. If I can find a few cool pairs, I will probably be frolicking around in overalls quite a bit this summer. This particular pair is from the thrift store. The top underneath is Free People. The scarf on my head is vintage.
My converses I custom designed on their website. It's so fun-- you can choose the design, words on the back and customize all the colors. You can do some yourself here:

Good luck braving this Monday! Put on something you can have fun in. It makes everything much more bearable.

Shakedown Street
I finally got my new camera in! Hence, my first daily style post! This what I wore for a night out with friends last night.
The Grateful Dead tee is from Libby Story. I love graphic tees in general. I think they give any look a really cool, effortless vibe. The shorts I made a couple of days ago. They are just jeans from the thrift store that I cut off and then slung some dye on. I was pretty pumped about the way the turned out. You can find the graphic tee I am wearing here.
I mentioned in an earlier post that I try to wear at least one vintage item every day. The zebra button up and braided belt that I am wearing are both thrifted vintage items.
I am having so much fun playing around with close up shots on my new camera! I got a Canon EOS Rebel T3 with a macro lens. I am absolutely loving it so far... I would definitely recommend it for someone who doesn't know much about photography starting out (like me).
Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there! I have a pretty fantastic mom myself. She supports me in everything that I do and does WAY too much for me. Couldn't make it without her that's for sure! At 25, I am finally starting to realize that everything she told me was right. Thank goodness for lessons learned-- they have definitely shaped me into the person I am now. I am thankful that she is still giving me good advice and helping me get through life's struggles.

Hello.
Hello. I’m Letty.
This is where I will share my inspirations and style point of view. I love things from the past. I love when things look worn. I love items that have been previously loved by someone else. I love taking those items and giving them new life. If I had to describe my style it would be in two words. Perfectly Undone. I love style that is effortless, eclectic, and at times a little messy.
Follow me on my adventures!
